DESCRIPTION:
SUNCUT is designed for metal arc cutting of plain carbon steels, medium alloy and high alloy steels and of cast iron. The cut will not be as smooth and clean as obtained by gas cutting. The electrodes have high arc force for deep penetration and cutting action. The electrode is also suitable for piercing.
ADVANTAGES:
No special equipment,oxygen,acetylene cylinder or compressed air are required, easy to operate in all positions, smooth forceful arc with low spatter, smooth & clean cuts can be obtained depending on operators skills. Electrodes are to be used in repair work & in scrap yard.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
Railways, scrapyards, repair works etc.
